These fieldtrips and local visits are not just educational supplements; they are gateways to a deeper understanding of Asturian and Spanish culture and heritage. Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and stories that shape us, forging lasting memories and connections that extend far beyond the classroom. These excursions are led by Laura Barrientos, art history professor and a visiting faculty member from one of our partner institutions during the academic year, and she is joined by GEO staff members during the intensive summer sessions.
Overnight Excursions (Fall and Spring only)
Two overnight excursions to other regions of Spain are offering during the Fall and Spring terms. Please note that the overnight excursion destinations will be different each term to accommodate students who will be here for the entire academic year.
